FocalPoint is proud to be a family-owned business with a long history of quality products and service. In 1990, David Smith, father of current owner, Kathy Smith, purchased the company that would become FocalPoint. Kathy began working for the company part-time while she was still in college, learning the ins and outs of the industry and how to best serve customers. FocalPoint has since become a third-generation family business, with Kathy’s three sons, Andy, Brendan, and Tristan, working alongside their mother to provide top-notch flooring products and services.
